Duna TM Maxima decor is a thin-layered decorative coating containing quartz sand and nacre. It is known among masters as “sand”. The peculiarities of this coating are its easiness of work, elasticity and the decorative effect of dunes.
Dune is applied with a brush. This tool allows controlling quartz sand and forms the desired result. As a result, the coating has visual “mirrors” (nacre smooth areas) and a rough surface.
Duna has a basic silver color, however, it is easy to be tinted with the pigment Farbex Color. The colors in demand for this decorative coating can be found in the Duna color catalog.
We’ve collected actual designs of application decorative coating Duna in the textures gallery. Here you find “sandy dunes”, the diagonal-and-vertical technique of applying and the colors combination technique.
Duna as all nacre coatings transforms depending on the light. Color plays an important role when you work with this product. Naturally lighted warm colors will look more saturated and under artificial light they will look more delicate. Under the sunlight, cold colors add the pattern depth and if the lighting changes to artificial, the colors visually become less bright.
