Velvet effect
The velvet effect is a unique technique that creates a surface that resembles the natural texture of fabric. They are used to create the effects of an old, vintage or silky coating on the walls. It can be used in both classic and modern interiors to add sophistication and elegance. Such an effect can be achieved with the help of the Ottocento decorative coating. Thanks to the multi-layer application and the special composition of Ottocento, the walls look like real velvet, which changes shades depending on the lighting.
Рriming
Priming is a necessary stage. Apply on the surface deep penetrating primer-concentrate 1:10 AQUA PRIMER TM Maxima with a roller or a brush.
Before you start applying decorative coating, cover the areas, which are not meant to be coated, with masking tape and film.
Base tinting
Before applying, the Quartz Primer Maxima Decor must be tinted to the color of the decorative coating using the Farbex color pigment (beige).
Applying the base
Apply Quartz Primer Maxima Decor colored soil to the wall. It has high adhesion to the base, the use of soil facilitates the application and structuring of decorative materials.
Toning coating
Decorative coating Ottocento, colored with "Farbex Color" pigment concentrate.
Beige color (8 ml per 1 kg).

Apply the decorative coating Ottocento in multidirectional movements
Coating: layer 2
We apply the second layer of the decorative coating Ottocento, with multidirectional movements we form the primary pattern
Coating: layer 3
We apply the third layer of the Ottocento decorative coating, emphasizing the past pattern with multidirectional movements
