How to apply Venetian plaster (video)
Stucco Veneziano Maxima-decor is a coating, which imitates a cut of marble, onyx, malachite, cornelian or other natural stone. Venetian plaster looks harmonically if you decorate one accented wall or a ceiling with it, and also as a separate architectural element, for example, on wall panels, arches, pillars and others. Besides you can use Stucco Veneziano in classic interior styles and also in modern styles: loft, functionalism or fusion.
Рriming
Priming is a necessary stage.
Apply on the surface deep penetrating primer-concentrate 1:10 AQUA PRIMER TM Maxima with a roller or a brush.
Before you start applying decorative coating, cover the areas, which are not meant to be coated, with masking tape and film.
Tinting of the base coating
Tinting Quartz Primer TM Maxima-decor
Stir Quartz Primer TM Maxima-decor carefully and manually tint it with pigment concentrate "FARBEX COLOR". Due to the brightness and saturation of the pigment, its consumption will be minimal.
The color is grey-blue.
Applying the base coat
Quartz Primer TM Maxima-decor has a high level of adhesion to the base surface. Using primer makes applying and forming decorative coatings easier. Apply adhesive primer with quartz filler QUARTZ PRIMER TM Maxima-decor. As a tool use a roller with a 7-12 mm pile and roll it well to achieve a maximally smooth surface.
Tinting of the decorative coating

Stir Stucco Veneziano TM Maxima-decor carefully and manually tint it with pigment concentrate "FARBEX COLOR". Due to the brightness and saturation of the pigment, its consumption will be minimal. The color is grey-blue.
Application of decorative coating: 1st layer
Apply Stucco Veneziano TM Maxima-decor with a Venetian trowel or a stainless steel spatula.
Work on the wet edge, leaving a minimal quantity of the product to avoid visible joints on the surface.
Applying a decorative coating, form the structure: 2nd layer
Form a texture after the first layer gets dry. Apply Stucco Veneziano TM Maxima-decor from one corner making criss-cross strokes with a Venetian trowel or a stainless steel trowel. Work on the wet edge, leaving a minimal quantity of the product to avoid visible joints on the surface.
Surface grinding
Grind the whole surface. Remove peeled particles with a brush.
Tinting of decorative coating
Tint again Stucco Veneziano TM Maxima-decor with pigment concentrate "FARBEX COLOR" to emphasize the already existing pattern. Before you add the pigment to Stucco Veneziano, mix it manually. The color is grey-blue.
Applying a decorative coating: 3rd layer
Apply Stucco Veneziano TM Maxima-decor with with a metal trowel, a spatula, a brush with an artificial pile. Work on the wet edge, leaving a minimal quantity of the product to avoid visible joints on the surface.
Surface grinding
Grind the whole surface. Remove peeled particles with a brush. If necessary you can use coarse sandpaper.
Applying of wax: 1st layer
Apply CERA LAVABILE TM Maxima-decor on the whole surface.
Applying of wax: 2nd layer
Apply CERA LAVABILE TM Maxima-decor on the whole surface.
