Venetian Marble Effect
STUCCO VENEZIANO Maxima decor is a Venetian plaster, which imitates a marble surface with its character veins. It provides sophistication to the interior and makes the walls expressive and textured. It looks harmonic as a focus element or an interior decision for the whole premise.
The effect of white marble makes the premise lighter and visually adds space. It easily combines with other tones, decorative elements and textures.
Рriming
Priming is a necessary stage.
Apply on the surface deep penetrating primer-concentrate 1:10 AQUA PRIMER TM Maxima with a roller or a brush.
Before you start applying decorative coating, cover the areas, which are not meant to be coated, with masking tape and film.
Applying a base coating
Silk Touch 3 Maxima
Latex paint with a matt effect. It obtains a high level of adhesion and easily spreads on the surface providing small consumption and high coverage level at the same time. It effectively covers microcracks on the coated surface. It doesn't run and splash during the process of coating.
Apply with a roller with a pile of 7-12 mm.
Applying a decorative stucco: 1st coat
Apply STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor with a stainless steel spatula. Work on the wet edge, leaving a minimal quantity of the product to avoid visible joints on the surface.
Tinting decorative coating
Tinting decorative coating STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor.
Carefully manually stir STUCCO VENEZIANO and tint it with pigment concentrate "FARBEX COLOR" in two tones: black and grey. Due to the brightness and saturation of the pigment, its consumption will be minimal.
Forming a picture
Put three colors of STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor on a spatula: white, grey and black. Make a pattern with continuous uneven movements.
Applying an intermediate coating
When the first coat gets dry, apply a thin coat of white coating STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor. Apply STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor from one corner to another with a stainless steel spatula, working sequentially and quickly. Work on the wet edge, leaving a minimal quantity of the product to avoid visible joints on the surface.
Imitation of cracks
Draw draft cracks with a pencil. Deep the cracks with an awl and a clerical knife.
Tinting decorative coating
To make the cracks more noticeable, tint coating STUCCO VENEZIANO TM Maxima-decor with a pigment concentrate "FARBEX COLOR". Stir carefully manually STUCCO VENEZIANO before adding the pigment.
The color is: black, sandy.
Crack filling
Fill in the cracks with two coats with a stainless steel spatula.
Interlayer grinding
Grind the whole surface. Remove peeled particles with a brush.
Applying of wax
Apply CERA LAVABILE TM Maxima-decor on the whole surface.
