The Duna decorative plaster is suitable both for covering all the walls in a room and for creating accent areas within the interior. Рriming
Priming is a necessary stage.
Apply on the surface deep penetrating primer-concentrate 1:10 AQUA PRIMER TM Maxima with a roller or a brush.
Before you start applying decorative coating, cover the areas, which are not meant to be coated, with masking tape and film.
Application of the primer: 1 coat
Silk Touch 3 Maxima, tinted to Color NCS RAL 9004.
Latex paint with silky effect. It obtains a high level of adhesion and easily spread on the surface providing small consumption and high coverage level at the same time. It effectively covers microcracks on the coated surface. It is easy to apply, doesn't run and splash during the process of coating.
Apply the paint with a roller with 44 × 250, pile height – 10 mm
Application of the primer: 2 coat
We are applying the second coat of Silk Touch 3 Maxima latex paint, in the colour NCS RAL 9004.
Applying painter's tape
Mark out the lines using a laser level
Apply Mustang 25mm x 50m masking tape along the markings, 24 hours after applying the final coat of paint
Applying paint to masking tape
Apply SILK TOUCH 3 MAXIMA paint over the masking tape to prevent the decorative finish from bleeding
Roller: 15 × 100 mm, pile: 11 mm
Coating coloring
Duna maxima decor + farbex colour black 15 ml/kg
Decorative coating with quartz sand and pearlescent pigments
Applying a decorative coating
Apply with a brush using random strokes, distributing the quartz particles evenly across the surface.
After 10–15 minutes, use a clean brush to create a pattern
15 minutes after applying the decorative coating
remove the masking tape and leave to dry for 24 hours
